A-State Percussion Facilities Get Acoustics Upgrades

Just in time to start the 2022 Fall semester, the A-state Percussion Program has installed significant acoustics upgrades to their practice facilities which will have an immediate impact on students' practice experience. The upgrades include acoustic paneling in both Percussion Annex practice rooms, as well as the faculty teaching studio, and a complete set of Evans dB One low-volume cymbals and mesh heads for the primary practice room drum set. These upgrades will greatly improve the acoustic environments of these frequently-used practice spaces, making the instruments sound even better while also significantly reducing the risk of performance-related hearing damage (and grumpy neighbors)!
